Join the team at Joe's Gardens, a family-owned farm and garden center serving the Pacific Northwest. We offer seasonal employment opportunities in greenhouse production, plant care, retail sales, customer service, and farm operations.

Employment Steps

Our growing season runs from January through September, with most hiring taking place in mid-January, March, and late summer. If you enjoy working outdoors, helping customers, and being part of a hardworking team, we encourage you to submit an employment application at Joe's Gardens.

Because we are a working farm, we ask the following of our employees:

Must be physically able to lift and carry 60 + pounds as part of daily tasks.
Be available to work full time (up to 40 hours per week), may include Saturdays and Sundays
Have and maintain rubber or all weather boots - we recommend minimum of 12" clearance up the calf
Have a rain jacket (rain pants are strongly recommended).
Be willing to work at a fast, efficient pace in all kinds of weather conditions.
Be willing to work with the public and fellow employees in a friendly, polite and helpful manner.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Working our retail stand planting in our fields and greenhouses
Harvesting and washing produce
Many other farm related duties and responsibilities
