June-bearing
Produces one big harvest in June—perfectly sweet berries that are ideal for jams and jellies.
Everbearing
Enjoy fresh strawberries all season long, from late June through September!
Planting
Strawberries thrive in containers, raised beds, or right in the ground—as long as you give them the basics
Sunlight: At least 4 hours a day (more sun = more berries!)
Soil: Rich, well-draining soil is key
Water: Keep soil consistently moist—don’t let plants dry out
Planting tip: Space your starts about 10–18 inches apart so they have room to grow and produce plenty of fruit
