Quality Fruits, Vegetables & more!
We have been offering quality fruits and vegetables to our community since 1933. At Joe’s, our products vary with the seasons, everything harvested at its peak of ripeness and flavor.
Plant Nursery
Our doors open in early March, when you will find bedding plants, the finest vegetable starts, as well as potting soil and compost to make your backyard garden beautiful and bountiful.
Produce Barn
Starting in May shop vegetables harvested fresh from our fields. Depending on the season you may find fresh lettuce, herbs, sugar snap peas, cucumbers, tomatoes, and more.
Growing Tips
We draw from over 80 years of experience in farming, to select varieties that will not only prosper in back yard gardens, but also provide exceptional flavor.

Early May brings beautiful hanging baskets, Summer adds the beauty of freshly tied flower bouquets, along with the unbelievable sweetness of locally grown blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and branch fruit varieties from Eastern WA.
Late summer to early autumn brings shallots, apples & pears to the extensive list of fresh fruits and vegetables still on the menu from spring and summer.
Our History
Joe’s Gardens is located in the historic Happy Valley neighborhood near Fairhaven in Bellingham, Washington. We have been offering quality fruits and vegetables to our community since 1933.
