Employment Opportunities at Joe's Gardens

Joe's Gardens is a seasonal, working farm during the months of March through October. We are typically looking for new hires during mid-February and March, and then again in late summer. Because we are a working farm, we ask the following of our employees:

• Must be physically able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Be available to work full time (40-50 hours per week), may include Saturdays and Sundays
• Have and maintain rubber or all weather boots - minimum of 12" clearance up the calf
• Have a rain jacket (rain pants are strongly recommended).
• Be willing to work at a fast, efficient pace in all kinds of weather conditions.
• Be willing to work with the public and fellow employees in a friendly, polite and helpful manner.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, everything from working our retail stand, planting in our fields and greenhouses, harvesting and washing produce, and many other farm related responsibilities.
